One list for Canadian stocks is http://www.investcom.com/cgi-bin/
nameindustry/industrysearch.cgi

you can search by industry type. I then go through them (most very quickly, since I've already set some parameters), one by one. Screeners sometimes "screen out" my best prospects.

I also use the Magic Formula screen (see links on the right of my blog), and a lot of lists I read in various financial magazines (top 100, 200, 500 etc.) to find good prospects.

Hope this helps,

Jay WalkerJay Walkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09864804379266346012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22646804.post-1146285178015913292006-04-28T21:32:00.000-07:002006-04-28T21:32:00.000-07:00Hi Gino, Here are some free screeners:globeinvesto...Hi Gino,

Here are some free screeners:
globeinvestor ... http://www.globeinvestor.com/v5/content/filters

and moneycentral ... http://moneycentral.msn.com/investor/finder/customstocks.asp

I also use finance.google.com, thestreet.com, and the tools at etrade (you need to have an account there) to do my research.

These are the ones I use.
